Week 6

Friday, May 1, 2020 3:18 PM

We have just finished week 6 of virtual learning and therapy.  It has been an interesting ride.  I think that I may have it down now.  Maybe….   We have a combination of 15 meeting/therapy sessions each week.  All but one session is virtual/telhealth. Plus school work.  Then there is just the everyday things that have to be done,  You know what I’m talking abot laundry, dishes meals etc.  The one nice thing is being able to get out and go to Horse therapy.  They are great about making sure evrything is disinfected and safe and masks are worn.  Jimmy loves Horse therapy so we are thrilled that he can still do this.  The other nice thing that I get to do is go pickup grocerries.  Sometimes I have to shop other time I order ahead and they drop it in my trunk of my car.  That is wonderful.  Its nice to get out.

Last weekend we took a drive on Saturday and Sunday.  Jimmy loved going for a drive in the car.  Its nice to see the world even if its just from the car.  We just stayed in the area.   Up  until  last weekend our main view of the world has been from the backyard of our home and out the windows.  Especially for Danny.  Sabrina has been going out only for work and IVIG/infusions.

Sabrina has ben working hard at the urgent care.  She is being trained as a tech now.  She still dose the receptionist duty sometimes.  She is loving it.  She can now put her EMT certification to use.  She does the intake of the patient, whick includes taking vitals and finding out why they have come in etc.  She has been doing blood draws, IVs and running lab test.  Its very exciting.  They are also doing COVID19 testing for both the virus and antibodies.   They are making sure to take all percaussion to keep their employees safe.
