We are sitting at the hospital waiting for Dad/Gramps to go back and get his back surgery.  He is having screws put in between to vertabrae.  I beleive this is what is happening  https://www.mayoclinic.org/tests-procedures/spinal-fusion/about/pac-20384523. 

S and I arrived after DH, Gramps, Nana and SL.  We want to wait until they got  the IV and pre-opt done.  S and I went back for a while and talked while DH waited in the waiting room.  Only so many people allowed back there at a time.  S and I are now in the witing area while DH, Nana and SL are back with Gramps getting the details from the various doctors. Its a littel after 2 now so he should be going back any time now. 

DH was very nervous about ther surgery Gramps is up ther in age and any surgery is scary.  DH took the day off from work.  The surgery will take about 2.5 to 3 hours.   Gramp. will stay in the hospital about 2-3 days.  Praying for a fast and great recovery.
